Chief Gani O. Fawehinmi Is dead

with heavy heart we announce the demise of nigeria's foremost human rights activist, Chief Gani O. Fawehinmi. He passed on in the early hours of today Saturday 5th September, 2009 in his Ikeja, Lagos residence at almost 72 years of age.

I am very sorry to hear that news. I hope I could attend his funeral.
