The South South Universities Dance Slam & Talent Hunt + Peace Ambassadors Award is an initiative of Top Entertainment Nigeria with Media Partners as Nigezie TV, Cool FM, Love FM, Wazobia FM and others. The event which would be spread out over the month of October would be multi-faceted and consist of the following sections:
1.) Auditions for Talents
This would be the first part and would be spread into three zones as follows:
ZONE 1
This would consist of schools in Ondo, Delta and Edo States. the Schools eligible are as follows:
O.S.U.A, DELSU, UNIBEN, EKPOMA and Igbinedion
ZONE 2
This is for schools in Rivers, Bayelsa, Abia and Imo States. these schools are:N.D.U, UNIPORT, UST, FUTO, IMSU, MADONNA and ABSU
ZONE 3
Zone 3 the final zone would be for Universities in Cross river and Akwa- Ibom States which are:UNICAL and UNIUYO
The auditions would be spread over a period of one week and would cover the following categories:
Dance ( Single & Group Categories)
Music ( Single & Group Categories)
Comedy and
Modelling
2.) Peace Rally
There would be a Peace Rally in selected states of the Niger Delta. This would be open to everyone and would take off from designated spots which would be announced.The theme of the peace rally is, "Shun All Violence, Embrace Peace & Unity"
3.) Grand Finale of the Talent Hunt
This is where the finalists who made it through the auditions would perform and winners would be chosen. As a special twist, everybody is given a free hand to choose which artiste you would like to perform on that day, for details on this please check

The winners would walk away with very juicy prices and cash.The line up for this day would be red carpet, introduction of guests, artiste perfomances, fashion show, peace ambassador awards and prayer for peace with everything culminating in an After-Party.
4.) Dinner/ gala Nite & Award Presentation
This would be the end of the event and where the prizes would be awarded to all winners. It would hold at Hotel presidential, Port harcourt and On this day, there will be a symposium/ peace talk with the theme; "Youth empowerment and rapid development; The only way forward" handling issues such as Illiteracy, Youth restiveness, Cultism, Militancy, HIV-AIDS and Prostitution.
The talk would be handled by the following speakers: Professor Mark Anikpo, Professor Steve Azaiki and Honorable Marvin Yobana. there would also be a message by the Governors and the singing of a Peace Anthem Composed by all the musicians.
