« on: August 15, 2009, 06:26:49 PM »
MILITANT operations in the Niger Delta have been blamed for power outage in the country. Minister for Power, Dr Rilwan Lanre Babalola who said this in Port Harcourt noted that the activities of pipeline vandals in Delta state had led to inadequate gas supply needed to generated power daily. And the consequence of his he said was the incessant power outage in most parts of the country.

How could very FG blame militants for nigeria down fall? For me amnesty is just to cover the struggle for resource control, for militancy can only be stopped if FG gives us our demand & esteem us as also majority not minority. For no human can be prefered to be call minor human. If our leaders fail to lead us we on our part will continue the gbadai. You can see what happens in delta state on thursday it was not militants neither mend(indirectly) it was youths from the community. This shows that govt can only help nigeria if only the demands on ND is reached not amnesty because there are several ijaw villages that are having the same motives.

Maybe MEND has been there since Nigeria was created. This is a very ridiculous arguement. Let them stop passing blame and face their work!!

Why wouldn't the Nigerian nation ascribe its inefficient and ineffectiveness as regards power supply on Niger Delta when she knows that the struggle is highly celebrated.

Can you imagine a hausa man driving his old Cab without imbibing good maintainance culture.  This said driver while on motion, had his tyres burst.  The next exclamation is: oh, this nigerdelta youths again! Now, tell me, what relationship has the ND struggles got to do with this unfortunate Driver?

Make una no worry jo! our voices will soon be heard. No be our men cause incessant power outage.
